What's Included with Your Translation

When you place an order with RushTranslate, your deliverables vary slightly depending on whether you selected a Certified Translation or Standard Translation. This article outlines what's included, what's not, and what to expect from your completed files.

Certified Translation Deliverables

Certified translations are intended for official use and include all the elements required by agencies like USCIS, courts, and universities. Each translation is formatted to resemble the original as closely as possible, but not as a visual replica. The goal is a clear, accurate translation accompanied by proper certification. You'll receive a signed Certificate of Accuracy, digital delivery via secure link, and the option to add notarization or physical delivery if needed.

  • A professionally translated document in PDF format
  • A Certificate of Accuracy, signed by a company representative
  • Digital delivery via a secure download link
  • Formatting that matches the source as closely as possible, within the limits of our service
  • Optional add-ons like notarization and shipping, if selected during checkout

Standard Translation Deliverables

Standard translations are best suited for personal reference, internal business use, or informal communication. They focus on delivering an accurate translation of the content without replicating the original formatting or including any certification. These translations are not accepted for official purposes like immigration or legal proceedings, and they do not include notarization or a signed certificate.

  • A professionally translated document in PDF format
  • Simplified formatting focused on content, not layout replication
  • Digital delivery via a secure download link

What's Not Included (Unless Selected)

These optional services are only available for certified translations and must be selected during checkout or when submitting your quote request. They are not available for standard translations.

  • Notarization: Included only if selected. Adds an official notarized signature to the Certificate of Accuracy.
  • Hard copy delivery: Digital files are standard. Physical shipment is available as an add-on.
  • E-apostille: If you need an apostille, we offer electronic apostille service for eligible documents.

Revisions and Edits

You may request a revision free of charge when the issue falls within the original scope of your order. These requests are routed to the original translator, who will review them based on their professional judgment. For the fastest response, submit your revision directly from the order status page—requests made by email or other channels may take longer to process.

  • There's a clear error or omission
  • You're clarifying something originally requested
  • Formatting doesn't match your original instructions

Requests that involve new content or changes outside the original scope may require additional charges. We'll confirm any pricing or timeline changes before proceeding.

Translator Signatures and Credentials

Certified translations include a Certificate of Accuracy that confirms the completeness and accuracy of the translation. This certificate typically shows:

  • The name of the authorized company representative
  • The signature of the authorized company representative
  • The date of certification
  • The certification stamp from the company
  • The company contact details

Because our translators are located around the world, it's not feasible to have them certify documents in person. Instead, a designated company representative certifies the file on their behalf. This allows us to notarize the certificate when needed, as the certifier and notary must be physically present together.

Digital vs. Physical Copies

All orders include digital delivery by default. You'll receive an email with a download link once the files are ready.

If you selected shipping with your certified translation, we'll send physical copies of the certified translation to your specified address. Delivery timelines vary based on the shipping method selected.

Turnaround Time Expectations

Your estimated delivery date is based on the service level, language pair, and any selected add-ons. You can track this from your order page. For more details on what affects delivery time and how to plan accordingly, see our article on Translation Timelines.
