There are ongoing impersonation scams on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and other platforms. Scammers create fake hiring posts, help-wanted ads, and DM translators pretending to offer jobs. To stay safe, keep the following in mind:
- We only hire through our jobs page on rushtranslate.com and our verified Upwork account.
- We never recruit on social platforms or through DMs. Any “RushTranslate” page or profile doing this is fake.
- We never charge fees for applying, onboarding, training, or releasing payments. Anyone asking for money is a scammer.
- Legitimate communication comes from @rushtranslate.com email addresses or through Upwork. Scammers often use look-alike domains to create confusion.
- If you see a social profile using our name or logo and offering jobs, it is not us. Do not share documents or personal information.
- If you receive an offer and you didn’t apply through our site or Upwork, it is not legitimate.
- If you already engaged with a scammer, stop immediately, do not send payments, and report the profile to the platform. You can also notify us so we can report it as well.
