I handed in two German letters of recommendation to be translated into English and notarized. The process was fast, with a quick turnaround of the initial translations within 48 hours. The support I received from staff facilitating and communicating with me was outstanding, very attentive and friendly and helpful. The two translations were done by two different translators, I assume. While one was good and thorough and my requested adjustments were performed instantly, I rather doubted the capabilities of the second translator. This translation was not done by a native speaker of English, I am certain, and their knowledge of English was limited. As a result, the translation required several edits - even of items I had clearly highlighted and asked to be changed explicitly. I understand that RushTranslate reserves the right of the translator to disagree with suggested edits, but in this case I mean the translator repeatedly ignored my request without comment and required me to become more insistent than I cared to be. The technical process of submitting, resubmitting and downloading all files was comfortable and flawless. Thank you.

I wanted a non-certified translation in Word (*.doc) and I got that because that is what was requested by the Consular General. I appreciate your service and I will use it again in the future. On the website they say they will charge you $24,95 per page, so I sent my Birth Certificate in Spanish and then I received an email saying that the document had more than 250 words (370) and so they charged me another $24,95, I ended paying $49,90 for ONE PAGE that is my birth certificate and its not very clear to read, I only did it here because I needed it last minute but I'm definitely not using this place never ever again. Don't waste your money!!!

When the order is placed, the checkout process is very clear that a page of certified translation is limited to 250 words. This is an industry standard and is consistent with practices of other translation agencies. If you would like to review how pages are counted, you can view additional information here: https://rushtranslate.com/guides/certified-translation-page-counts Upon receiving your order, the source document was evaluated and we determined you did not purchase the correct number of pages of certified translation per the amount of text in your document. We placed your order on hold and sent you a notification email informing you that an additional fee was required if you wanted to proceed with the translation. In that email, we again explained that a page of certified translation is limited to 250 words and that your document exceeded that amount. We offered to answer questions should you have any but you did not respond to the email. We did not charge your card the additional amount, we gave you the option to proceed or not and you processed the additional payment. If you did not wish to proceed because of the fees required to complete your translation you could have simply replied and we would have cancelled the order and issued a refund. Similarly, if you had questions about the fees or how pages of certified translation are counted, you simply needed to reply to the email and we would have addressed your concerns. In the end, the translation required 407 words to complete so 2 pages of certified translation was definitely the appropriate amount. I've used Rushtranslate for about 20 German > English translation jobs related as part of getting my green card and for a home purchase in the US. I had tried two other services but Rushtranslate was both faster and delivered much better translations. They often turn around translations in under 24h and you can do a rush order to cut it down to under 12h. I wholeheartedly recommend them.
