It would have been nice to receive my translated documents in individual PDFs since that is how they were uploaded instead of combined into one pdf. The translations also seem as if they were done with google translate and not a human actually translating this because the flow of the sentences do not make sense and it is more of a literal translation, overall I am not satisfied with the level of service I received and will probably seek translations elsewhere.

The only good thing I can say about Rushtranslate is how quickly they respond. But...... they committed mistakes while translating English into German with dates and names, and the worst is that after 6 times they finally translated it correctly, as if they were not paying attention to what they were doing. The only reason I'm writing this here is because I had no choice but to end up accepting this translation because they don't do refunds. After this experience i can not really say i trust the quality of the translation.

I am sorry to say but your translation from English to Serbian was terrible. It looks like you were using Google Translate. Misspelling of the names and addresses all over plus unacceptable grammar. My fault was that I had clicked the approval button by mistake before reading the translation. Anyway, I wouldn't have time to send you corrections back since I was in the rush. I am leaving the country tomorrow. I paid for expedited delivery but it seems that you've sent it by regular mail. I am just hoping I will receive it on time. I doubt that I will be able to use your translated papers at all so basically, I paid $169 for nothing. I am very disappointed.

I submitted three birth certificates for translation; my father's, my husband's, and mine. The translator is literally copying and pasting docs and made 6 errors in date of births, which are the most important information in a birth certificate. If I was not reading them carefully, I would have submitted incorrect info. A couple of examples: (1) I appeared as my husband's child because he/she copied my dad's birth certificate and forgot to correct numbers. (2) My husband's date of birth appeared in my birth certificate because he/she copied his for mine. I'm a customer of rush translate for years but HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO USE THEIR SERVICE.

I had full confidence in you this and was happy thinking it saved me time and was easy. They translated everything just fine and very quickly except for one word. But that word was the biggest and most important word on the page, a stamp annulling the certificate of marriage. Language was Spanish. Word was MARGINADO, which means dismissed, rejected, or marginalized. Their translation was MARGINAL ANNOTATION, annotations in the margin.  So I sent them a cordial letter asking them to change the translation, which they did very quickly. I appreciated that. What I didn´t appreciate was their lack of culpability. I would have said, sorry or at least oops. I got nothing except a notification that my document was now ready. So I would characterize them as fast and sloppy. And incorrigible.

Sorry to hear of your disappointment. We do not write responses to revision requests unless the translator needs to explain why the requested edit is unable to be applied. In this case, the one word that needed to be edited (text in a faint stamp that was applied over other text in the document) was revised quickly, as you said. Not sure how this warrants a 1 star review.

As of lately, some of the subcontractors try to cut the corners by combining several separate documents into one translation with one certification page.  Worse yet, very specific instructions to provide translation of separate documents in separate files with individual certification pages for each translated document are being ignored.

This is a preference that we leave up to the client and we are happy to make changes, as needed. Please don’t advertise that the turnaround time will be cut 50% if an additional cost is paid.  I paid  your fee of $14.95 to have 1 legal document translated with a notarized stamp and it took more than 24 hours.   You also fail to correct an error on your translation when I asked to be corrected.

We sent you the translation to review 10 hours after the order was received but you didn't approve the notarization until 10.5 hours later. By that time, it was 7:30pm EST, well after when we can provide notarization service. The Chinese-English translation service is extremely bad. They started to send us a translated document with my wife’s name incorrect. After we asking them to correct that typo, the they second document is still incorrect. Yes, my name on that document is also wrongly typed, I cannot believe it and cannot imagine what would happen if we carelessly submit those important materials to uscis.

There is no direct translation of names when translating ChineseEnglish. For this reason, we ask for you to provide the preferred spelling of names during checkout. You did not provide this information so the translator makes what amounts to an educated guess on the English spelling of the Chinese names. When we send the translation for your review, we specifically ask that you check the spelling of names, and if anything is incorrect, to submit a revision request from the order status page. You checked and found a name was spelled incorrectly, so we edited the document and sent it back to you less than 30 minutes later. You then submitted a second revision request for another name and we completed that within 30 minutes also. It is unfortunate that you feel disappointed in this service considering you ignored the request for preferred spelling of names which would have negated the need for revision requests and, even still, we completed the edits promptly, upon request. I sincerely doubt that my translator was fluent in Dutch, let alone that they were a native speaker. A lot of the translated terminology from my academic transcripts felt weird or were off. In most cases, a simple Google search would have helped the translator to understand what the word meant in Dutch. A simple example was that the word "psychologie" was translated with "philosophy" even after I mentioned it in the revision request. Only after three revision requests - yes, three were needed because the translator did not read or apply my comments consistently - I was satisfied.  I could have translated my documents faster and better; the only reason I used your services is that I needed a certified translation. I would not recommend this service. RushTranslate might be one of the cheapest out there, but unfortunately, they live up to their name.

I’m honestly very disappointed with the quality of the documents translation I received. I found many different mistakes on it including my name, witness name and a few dates were wrong, after I detailed and reported everything that was wrong they fixed some of it and even after that I found the same mistakes (and English is not my first language). I sent my documents and payed more money to another company so I could be more confident about my documents translation. I wish I could get my money back because my experience was awful. Thank you!

There was a delay of 2 days between when the translation was completed and sent for your review and when you approved the order to be finalized (notarized & shipped). Gentlemen, today I had an important level of requirement of my passport, where I had to present the document that you translated, and I was surprised that it was badly done, the date of birth of my document was wrongly placed !!!! This is a graceful mistake, since I had the height today I had no choice but to leave it, but they warned me that this could be a problem !!!! On the website they say they will charge you $24,95 per page, so I sent my Birth Certificate in Spanish and then I received an email saying that the document had more than 250 words (370) and so they charged me another $24,95, I ended paying $49,90 for ONE PAGE that is my birth certificate and its not very clear to read, I only did it here because I needed it last minute but I'm definitely not using this place never ever again. Don't waste your money!!!

When the order is placed, the checkout process is very clear that a page of certified translation is limited to 250 words. This is an industry standard and is consistent with practices of other translation agencies. If you would like to review how pages are counted, you can view additional information here: https://rushtranslate.com/guides/certified-translation-page-counts Upon receiving your order, the source document was evaluated and we determined you did not purchase the correct number of pages of certified translation per the amount of text in your document. We placed your order on hold and sent you a notification email informing you that an additional fee was required if you wanted to proceed with the translation. In that email, we again explained that a page of certified translation is limited to 250 words and that your document exceeded that amount. We offered to answer questions should you have any but you did not respond to the email. We did not charge your card the additional amount, we gave you the option to proceed or not and you processed the additional payment. If you did not wish to proceed because of the fees required to complete your translation you could have simply replied and we would have cancelled the order and issued a refund. Similarly, if you had questions about the fees or how pages of certified translation are counted, you simply needed to reply to the email and we would have addressed your concerns.  In the end, the translation required 407 words to complete so 2 pages of certified translation was definitely the appropriate amount. They didn't pay attention to my notes for names spelling and translated the document with wrong spelling!! They spell names however they like. Also, they don't send you a refund when the work is less than what you have paid. If god forbid you pay less though, they ask you for the rest of the fee right away, but they don't notify you when you overpay!!

You sent us an email less than 10 minutes prior to posting this review - so it's not fair to say "No response from customer service". The mistake in your name can be edited quickly by submitting a revision request from the order status page. Further, we do specifically request that proper spelling of names are provided when placing the order. Since your document was handwritten and you did not provide the proper spelling for the translator to reference, it is certainly understandable that an error was made and definitely not justification for a refund. Comparison of your translation with one obtained using Google Translate revealed nearly 100% concordance. Evidently, I paid almost $200 for something that I could’ve done myself for free. What’s more, your customer support representative insulted my intelligence by insisting that the translation was performed by a human being and not a computer.

They were merely explaining that the translation was completed 100% by a professional human translator and that use of any machine translation is strictly prohibited. Please keep in mind, one of your three documents was short and very basic and it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise that Google Translate could be quite similar to the translation we supplied. The fact that GT can accurately translate some basic texts does not mean that it was used by our translator. The other two documents are more complex and GT does not have much in common with the translation we supplied. If you ask a colleague who is fluent in both Spanish and English to review, they will be able to point out the ways in which the translator understood the meaning and captured the nuances of the source material in the translation - things that are not possible with GT. Hi. This process did not go well. Though the turn around was fast, the quality was poor. I asked a Korean-speaking friend to evaluate the letter you translated before I sent it, and they strongly advised against using your work. I was told that the translation was word-for-word accurate, but the letter did not make sense. To them, your translation did not reflect my sentiment. I have since had the letter re-translated in a manner that reflects my original intentions in the English version. Since I will not be using this product at all, I would like to be reimbursed for your services. They were not satisfactory.

This is one of the worst experience I ever had. Even my kid's name missing in the certificate.  There were other countless mistakes. even after sending the revision with well guided correction- It took 3 revision.   You should be charging $25 for all this. I will put my bad experience in google review and other places with hope to bring some change. Regards, Prabhat

Worst tranlate ever. Found many wrong translate from Farsi to English. I got send my document late to immigration and couldn’t send right and original translate, because of many wrong i found and it tooks time to get right translate!

The Translation and the review was not usable. I had to hire an other translator. Any ideas how we solve this? Translation was done not by an native speaking German. Best

The translation was done by a native speaking German and the peer review was also completed by a native speaking German. Both translators have worked with us for over 4 years. They both pointed out the English source text is a bit strange and does not make sense at times, having strange formulations and odd structures. Examples were given and we asked you to provide input on how you wished for those to be translated. Hiring another translator won't solve the issues that are inherent in the source material. Quality of translation was poor, felt like I was communicating with a robot. The final version still did not have the basic corrections I requests. Would not recommend this service to others.

The quality of translation from Hindi to English was extremely poor. There were numerous mistakes. Even after my corrections, errors still persisted. I had to spend a lot of time correcting everything. They also could not deliver the corrected translations within 12 hours, as claimed! Not recommended.

The whole document translation is a mess and no use. This is pathetic service i ever seen by any translation service in my entire life. No use of the translation document when even the certification number also wrong which is clearly written in the number. Sorry to say but this kind of service will never be accepted in any case.

On this translation, my name was spelled wrong. There is always an issue and there is no attention to detail. I would expect that a refund / credit would be provided, but the this has not happened.

The preferred spelling of names is, by far, the most common revision request. This can be greatly reduced by providing the preferred spelling of names in the document, as requested during the checkout process. We offer a free and easy to use process for requesting revisions.

Portuguese (Brazil) to English

They said it was just one page and then I received an email telling me I needed to pay more cause it would be 2 pages. I paid and when I got the document just one page was sent to me. They charged me for two pages when I just got one and it was not even 250 words. Very disappointed.

A page of certified translation allows up to 250 words and there is not always a correlation to the physical page count. In this case, the translation required 480 words to complete but the translator formatted the document similar to that of the original -- on one physical page. You left a comment with your order stating that you'd like to add shipping so we sent you a payment request to cover that optional service. The option to select shipping service is available during checkout and should be added to future orders, when needed. Doing so would prevent the need for the separate payment request.

Name signed on the diploma was wrong and region was wrong.

We have edited the translation via the revision process and the revised document is available from the order status page. Please note, we request the proper spelling of names/places during checkout as there is not always a direct translation.  

German to English

Unfortunately RushTranslate claims they are a recognized translation service but they are not accepted by the Ontario government in Canada for document translation services.

In fact, we specifically state: "Our translations are generally accepted by governments, courts, universities, etc. worldwide, but it is your responsibility to ensure our translation will meet the specific requirements of the receiving office. If you aren't sure, contact us with a list of their requirements and we can review with you." 

English to Japanese

For the amount they’re charging, I’d expect native level translation. This is not that.

Although the customer service is fast responding everything else was horrible. I paid extra 30$ for a 12 hour express translate and I did not receive it until 3 days later. And when I received my shipped hard copy 5 days later  there was so raised seal the stamps were printed and the second page printing was messed up over lapping words. Very disappointed I spend 130 dollars and now the customer service won't reply to me to fix my problem. Expensive and misleading.

The translation was completed in less than 12 hours. In this case, however, the order required shipping service which only occurs M-F as stated on our site and meant the hard copy didn't ship until 3 days after the client placed the order. We have corrected the printing error on document and processed a 2nd shipment, along with a partial refund for the inconvenience caused by the printing issue.

French to English

Horrible translation. Who ever did it didn't have a clue what he was doing and didn't even bother to use Google Translation. Waste of time and money.

Didn't get a good service, after stating exact instructions in the order they were ignored. I had to request revision multiple times. It was a very amateur and unprofessional service provided. Would definitely like a refund.

Very unsatisfied with the service of the translator and the support agent Jacqueline. I was expecting a translation that conforms to the document not an English transcription of the document. I'd not recommend the service.

Sorry we could not accommodate your request, but there are guidelines we must follow for certified translations that prohibit it. You can of course switch to a standard translation and there are no restrictions on how we handle that type of translation for you.
