It appears to be a word for word "Google Translate"-style translation that wasn't done (nor reviewed) by someone fluent in both Finnish and English. Language like "...after state of an stroke..." demonstrate this. Hopefully it's still clear enough to be accepted by the necessary parties. I will soon find out.

I'm sorry for any confusion. Translation into English and evaluation of the credentials into the US system are two different services that require different specialists. We don't offer credential evaluation, just translation, which is required prior to credential evaluation. Once you receive the certified translation from us, you will take that to an accredited credential evaluation service, such as Educational Perspectives, or World Education Services, to have the credentials evaluated. Great service at a reasonable price with a great turnaround time! The translation of the original document was fine and as expected. HOWEVER, I request that the certification statement be written in the language of the people who will be reading it, in Spanish. What good is the certification if it is not in a native language of the people reading it? It is meaningless and worthless. I have not yet received that reasonable request. I am very upset about this.

Hello, I was not very happy with my birth certificate translation, it had major mistakes with first names and also the city that appeared many times in the document. I don't think the translation was made by any human being ; it looked like it was made by google translation and not by human professional. It would have been easy to detect the mistakes by double-checking it afterwards... Very disappointing knowing the importance of the document's veracity and the fact that it will be used by the US Government.
